Delvecchio was a '70s TV show starring Judd Hirsch as an LA police detective.
On Delvecchio, Judd Hirsch played the title character, an honest detective who works out of the Los Angeles Police Department in the Washington Heights division. Delvecchio was characterized by his integrity. When not busting the bad guys with his burly sidekick Paul Shonski, Delvecchio spent his free time hanging out at the barber shop of his father, Tomaso, or studying for the bar exam, which he repeatedly fails. Lt. Macavan was Delvecchio's hard nose, yet friendly boss.
