This was a good hunt. My friend Bob and myself decided to try an old forest preserve where he knew in the past they had take some silver coins and Indian Head pennies from the ground.
Today was no exception we both found silver coins.
Any day you spend tresaure hunting and can come home with some good finds is a good day.
Thanks for watching!

  • Good Video! But I'm curious about why there are coins there. Was there a house there at one time? A community? Some kind of recreational facility? Why were there enough people there to drop a significant number of coins? I'd like to see more like this.

  • Pastfinder44 to answer your question why the coins were there it is because it was an old picnic ground and people and children would more than likely ventured off into the woods to play or explore and would have lost the coins.

    Thanks for watching.
