November 11, 2007. This video is about "electric people." These are people who seem to affect objects around them.

Street Lamp Interference (SLI) is when street lamps turn on or off as they drive or walk past them. In this video I stopped to photograph some things from a bridge. I noticed the street lamp above me had come on. It was 11:40 am, so no automatic sensors were involved. The only street lamp that had come on was the one above me. This happens to me all the time. When I was a kid and caught an early morning bus the driver noticed that street lamps turned off as we drove past them. On the days I didn't catch the bus this phenomenon did not happen.

I affect radio and television reception. As stated in the video I was often called down to the principal's office in school to place my hand on the radio for better reception when something was to be broadcast over the public address system.

At home I sat up next to the television so I could hold onto one of the rabbit ear antennae (this was before cable) so we had excellent reception rather than snow.

I don't own a watch because I kill them. The worst one I killed was a friend's Rolex after wearing it for less than half an hour. It completely stopped working. I took it to Shreve Crump and Lowe in Boston to have it fixed. They worked on it for months, sent it back to Rolex, who also worked on it and couldn't fix it. They sent it to watch repair experts around the world. No one could fix it. Fortunately, it was eventually lost in transit to some new fixit place and Shreve Crump and Lowe replaced the entire watch. My friend went to pick it up, I wasn't allowed to even touch the watch ever again.

None of my friends let me near their watches. A client of mine occasionally would get in a supply of Vera Bradley watches to sell in their retail stores. I was not allowed anywhere near the watches.

I grew up thinking I was the only person this happened to. On a whim one day I googled "electric people", since I couldn't think of anything to call it. Up popped websites about "electric people." They turned on or off street lamps. They destroyed watches. And many seem to have in common the fact that at one point in their lives they had died, which was the case with me.

I do mention an X-Files episode in the video. At one point Mulder mentions that people who have died and come back frequently can't wear watches because they stop working.

So, if you're one of these "electric people" please contact me. I'd be interested in hearing your story. You can PM me (but there are space limits on YouTube PMs) or send me an email at yvettegr@hotmail.com.

  • i want 2 minutes and 58 secs of my life back.

  • @GirlsBieberFever99 Okay, since you asked so politely, and didn't SHOUT or say bad things to me I'll do it. I don't often mess with the Space/Time continuum, but occasionally I do.

    Just wait a femtosecond, back in a mo . . .

Okay, I'm back. So, there. I've done it. You have your 2 minutes and 58 secs back. Please use the time wisely. And, whew!!, didn't mess up things too much. Sorry about the 8 years of George Bush. However, I did manage to get rid of the prehensile tails I gave us.

  • its a sign for you to shoot that street light with a b.b. gun

  • @skunksnag Haha.

  • Sorry to announce to are completely wrong, list any one of these "phenomenons" and I can tell you exactly what caused it. Take the street lights for example, the reason they cycle is because the lamp (bulb) is old and needs to be replaced, that is a well known fact in the street lighting industry.

  • @gailgrove Sorry to announce that you are completely wrong. Obviously, you didn't pay attention to the video.

I did call the utility department later and asked them to check this streetlamp and their records. The bulb was about a month old (shoots your declaration that it was old). They did check it, absolutely nothing wrong with it. So, you're explanation is wrong. Bulb did not need to be replaced.

  • @grecon001 It seems to be something in common with a lot of people. I still think there's a logical explanation and don't think any of this is supernatural or spooky.

  • I get off work a little after midnight and I always have lights go out. Sometimes three lamps on the same side of the street will go out in order as I pass under them. I car pool with a co worker and he thought I was crazy at first. But sees it for his self now and trips out when it happens

  • I learned how to control that with metal anckle bands, but I have so much charge I can turn of tvs from about 30 ft and make people feel sad or happy when I direct at them.=) it sucks though.

  • lol sure point them out

  • @beenjimotion No, never said that at all. Would you like to point out specific frames? Obviously you either didn't watch the video or understand it, or read any of the comment discussions.
