Andi find it very weird that so many people take anti depressive medication ( an increase that doesn't seem to have a decrease anytime soon )

and no-one wonders why that is, i don't expect this coming from pharmacists because in the end it's business.

I have this medication now and i'm taking it for 3 weeks, but if this helps to improve the feel good chemical serotonin in you brain how can you get suicidal thoughts ?.

I never heared people feeling good have suicidal thoughts.. is this a variable not known why it occurs or what ?.

@PringDaddyPring Lol What if Lexapro didn't work but Prozac did? Does that mean I don't have depression? I have depression and generalized anxiety disorder. For me personally, Prozac is superior to all other SSRIs.

You know... if Lexapro didn't work properly for you, the chances are that you simply didn't have Depression or Anxiety... If you actually have an anxiety disorder, then you truly do have a chemical imbalance and pills are recommended... I don't know much about depression... but an anxiety disorder is best treated with pills...You NEED to balance yourself out... you won't feel tired or "not alert"... the issue with anxiety is you are WAY too alert, basically..

I know the difference from being on lexapro and not on lexapro. when not on lexapro you feel normal good energy and well focused. while on lexapro you feel tired low not very alert and restlessness. for me lexapro was not good it might work for you but for most people would have side affects. I did not want to take lexapro but psychiatrist prescribed it. I won't fall for that again. even if they think it will help it really does not.

I was on this lexapro 2yrs ago and it wasn't good. This pill made me tired throught the day. I was not able to sleep i had a strange feeling while I was on it. I did not talk much and i had to walk around my house cause this pill was making me freak out

@Ficknfecker This has been approved by both my GP, and my Psychologist, and my Psychiatrist.

@johmedis You don't know how to take this pill. Talk to your doctor. This builds a level of serotonin (sp) in your body. This is not like taking an asprin! LOL
