Any videos I make reduce the audible quality of the original track (Which I own on CD and will gladly prove the point) to a point where it would not be acceptable for distribution. Airbourne are going to be huge!
Check them out if you are into good old fashioned hard pub rock.
This is my attempt at covering Runnin' Wild. I personally am very happy with this video.

  • can you give me the tab?

  • I'm not sure if you can post links on youtube. But I got my tab from Ultimate-Guitar if that helps :)

  • How are you getting that tone? What amp or pedals or processors are you using? What are the settings? Thanks!

  • This is my video that I go to when I want to get my tone back.. I'm struggling to recreate it.. In this video I'm not using any pedals, just a 1995 Gibson Les Paul Standard into a Marshall JCM 900 100watt head. I can't remember now, but in the solo I may have turned on a Marshall jackhammer distortion to get a bit more sustain.

My EQ is based around; Bass: 10:30. Mid; 1 o'clock. Treble 2:30 o'clock. Presence is 0. Those are all based on if you were looking at an analogue clock =]

  • Nice, I play this song in E flat also.

But I'm pretty sure Airbourne tuned up to F for this song on the album. I just don't want to put that kind of tension on my guitar.

BTW, what are you using to actually record the audio/video?

  • Yea I'm quite sure they did too. I didn't know about it at the time. You're only going up one semi tone, there's no harm in that. I'd worried if you were forced to go higher though.

To record that, I just got my stereo and aimed it me. Then put my amp inbetween my two stereo speakers. Then I put my camera on top of my amp.

    :)

  • Kickass playing man! :D

  • Can you give me this tab, please?

  • Do you sew when your internet goes down ? :}

  • @Shazeen82

I am playing it in E standard. Airbourne tune UP half a step to F standard. I just didn't do it at the time, but have done it since and it totally changes the overall sound of your guitar!

  • Its in E or D# tuneing?

  • @HotRodDeluxe29

Yea I realised their tuning after I'd done the video, but I was really happy with my tone in it, so I kept it.

  • you're talented

  • nice job....

  • Nice playing man!
