As a massage therapist, I treat clients who thought they had carpal tunnel syndrome when they first came in but ended up being nerve entrapment in the scalenes, sub scapularis, or pectoralis minor muscle. The symptoms, numbness, tingling, sharp burning, or aching pain in the arms and/or hands mimic exactly those of CTS. Therapeutic massage (not a spa) with active release techniques applied will diminish those symptoms without surgery. CTS gets misdiagnosed and in many cases surgery not needed.

@razor197 Is hard to self diagnose this condition. Did u went to the doctor?. My problem suddenly dissapeared. I stop using the computer a lot, i guess resting my wrists against the computer desk for long periods of time was making this pain to start.

This video was great. I told my doctor about all fingers except the pinky being numb. he said that he thought it was frost bite, but referred me to a neurologist anyway for testing, turns out I definately have carpal tunnel, this explained in good detail for me what was going on!!
