I recently got an email containing some pictures of the recent shuttle mission that were shared by a NASA employee with a friend. The entire time I was looking at these powerful images I could hear this song playing in my head, Wished I Was In Heaven Sitting, by Mississippi Fred McDowell.(I've also seen the title "I Wish I Was In Heaven Sitting Down") Somehow it just seemed to fit.

I did not know that. Can you imagine when the first little green alien hears Ole Willie? Maybe that's why we are being visited. They are looking for more blues and a bottle of cheap wine.

Thanks Tom ...this music seems timeless for me, or maybe I'm just stuck in a time warp? But, this song really did start running in my head while I was looking at those pictures....so it was an easy choice to make.
