Thanks for the thorough review! I'll be ordering the 17" model this week =)
Were you planning to upgrade to an SSD? I'd imagine the 5,400rpm drive you currently have would be the machines biggest bottleneck. I'll be ordering the free upgrade to a 7,200rpm drive (smaller but faster) and possibly upgrading to an SSD if it starts raining cash in Toronto ha ha. I'm a long-time Windows user but given the option to dual boot and take advantage of what both platforms offer is the selling point for me.

Hows the battery life for you on this thing? (Lets just say as far as web browsing and having itunes open goes)

@Neal123 I'll have a part of this review dedicated just for the battery life aspect of the laptop. But, to answer your question now, with web browsing and iTunes open, I'd say I can push about eight hours of usage out of this on a full charge.
