Awesome! I watched this in Richmond, VA in the early to mid 1960s.

There is another b&w animated commercial, with Valleydale pigs playing football, with female pig cheerleaders. I can hear parts of it, ... "and as the team comes out, the crowd starts to shout...da da da something ...give their all for Valleydale. Valleydale hot dogs. Valleydale weiners. Ham and lunch meats Valleydale. Hooray for Valleydale, etc."

I'd love to see the Valleydale pig football ad, from the same period. Memories!

I remember this one vividly. There were several versions, including a color one, but this is the version I remember. I loved the pig with the trombone snagging the other two, but always wondered why they came out of the bell again without a WTF!?! look on their faces.

Oh Goodness! I had an urge to Google Valleydale. I grew up in the South...and watched this commercial, in color I believe, so often as a kid and always have had this song in my head. It's here! How did you get it???
