Why are "truthers" such as Alan Watt, ignoring rational and reasonable questions about his work? Why is he pretending the issues raised are to do with the Christianity of the questioners - and therefore religious and thus personal - when the issues are more to do with historical accuracy and integrity?

The real issue is that much of the "Truth movement" has been quite easily manipulated into regurgitating lies and propaganda.

The validity or otherwise of religion is another issue.

personally i watched the movie twice yesterday once alone and once with a few friends and id say it changed my perspectives on religion and the government and i think it made my friends think about it too

There's a disclaimer in the movie saying "this is not to be taken as truth." The film was intended to educate people with scientific observations, not to promote a truth movement. Science is not truth; one of its laws (law of emergence) dictates that "truth" is always changing, and that one must always be prepared to accept it even if it challenges their perceptions of reality. You for example are skeptical because Zeitgeist is challenging information you regard as truth. Unwise!

2nd part is excellent and so is the 3rd. There is no debunking these parts. So you saying since you think the first part is BS therefore the rest must be. Wake up. Do your own research. The Zeitgeist movement is actually committed to social reform, and that requires some education based on facts and observation. So yeah, it's a "truth" movement within that context. The bottom line is you are meant to begin investigating these "truths" for yourself, not just accept or dismiss them.

Even I have some reservations about the movement, so I won't disregard your claim that certain parts of the movie may be false. I'll look into that website as well.
