Victor Decker was an amazing man who was passionate about his family, friends, daughter, and community. He was a Norfolk City Police Officer who was decorated for his work in the field. On October 26, 2010 he was found outside his truck, pronounced dead on the scene. He leaves behind a wife, newborn daughter, and countless friends and family.
In Victor's memory, the Norfolk Sheriff's Office has established the officer Victor Decker Memorial Fund to assist his wife and newborn daughter. Donation may be made to any Towne Bank branch in the name of "Officer Victor Decker Memorial Fund." Donations may also be mailed to the Officer Victor Decker Memorial Fund at P.O. Box 3236 Norfolk, Va. 23514.

It doesn't seem like a year could possibly have gone by... I keep waiting for her to call me, in tears, saying you're home... Or for her to pull up in the driveway and you hop out of the passenger door. We miss you. <3

My sympathy to his wife and child. God bless you all. Victor is one of those unforgettable people. I knew him some time ago, and i remember he was always smiling, and usually happy. Such a sad world that we live in, that things like this even have to happen. My prayers are with you.
