I know a lot of people who hate those bands.. so what... a lot of people love them. We 'overreact' just because we don't understand why some would waste their time and energy in watching videos they don't like, commenting and actually carrying on discussions about how they don't like that stuff... sorry, but i find it totally pointless! i have tons of bands which i hate... they go into IGNORE area

  • @iceshades The feeling remains the same, actually. I hate Avantasia and all power, epic, whatever bands... Really, it was annoying to listen to this whiny shit after a while. And my initial comment wasn't that offensive, it looks funny to me. All of you are overreacting. But then again, this is a typical Avantasia (or power, epic metal in general) fan's response :P Even Tobias here cries, touched by emotion, muahahah.

it's cool, i get it. but this sounds very mellow compared to the initial tone of your comment, anyway...

I love Wacken cause everyone mingles and a lot of them seem to merge into different genres of metal

  • @iceshades Not at all a fan... I mostly really liked ad majorem (which means that trully evil gorgo fans would sacrifice me) and I don't even listen to black anymore. But still, I liked them more than avantasia. The combination of the music with the stage show and the wind blowing at 1-2 o clock in the night was just awesome atmosphere. Too bad I needed to take a shit in those horrible 'toilets' near the stage, so I missed a couple of songs.

typical gorgo fan :P no surprise

  • @timomustpractise Yeah, I know I offend everyone who comes here to watch the video, but they were trully unbearable after a little bit, sorry. I think the same for every power metal band. And not because I'm so evil and brutal that I can't listen to anything 'softer' than black and death metal. :P I like a little heavy metal (in the strict sense of the term). And yeah, Nick Barker rocks (among others).

  • @PrinzEugenMCMLXXXIII I agree, even if I prefer Avantasia's music. ;) You mean Nick Barker? He rocks, pure and simple. Beast of a drummer!

  • @timomustpractise Hahah, true that (I actually saw Gaahl with his darling at Hamburg airport) :P I'm not a fan of either of these two bands, but musically, I think Avantasia take the gayness prize. Gorgoroth put such an atmospheric show. And it was Barker on drums of course.

  • @PrinzEugenMCMLXXXIII The big question is, which one is more gay; Avantasia or Gorgoroth? ;D (joke, joke!)
