  • I'm going to look for one of those bariton ukes when I go to dallas, oh yeah great song my friend. always a treat

  • Thanks Ken,

let me know how it goes....cheers,

    Todd

  • thanks man, you confirmed my decision. as soon as i have the extra loot, i'm pickin up a baratone ukulele. any suggestions for a good starter. and thanks for the post too.

  • Hi appasback,

I have a 'makala' baritone (not used on t his post, but many of my other posts) that you can find between 75.00 and 90.00 bucks that i'd highly recommend....it's a very plain uke, but I like the sound and the action....thanks,

    todd

  • Beautiful rendition, Todd. I love this song so much that I am putting in my will that I would like it played at my funeral.

  • Jon,

    Thanks so much!!!!

you may like my redition of 'no tears in heaven' as well....I posted it week before last in memory of my cousin who just passed.....I love old spirituals.....

    :)

  • brother bjorn! always good to hear from you!!! thanks, man

i never thought i'd say this, but the baritone is quickly becoming my favorite uke.....heck some don't even consider it a real uke do to it's tuning, but i'm already scraping a little dough to upgrade a bit....i got this one on a trade and like its sound, but i'd like something a little sturdier....

    cheers,

  • Great tune, Todd! Love that low baritone stuff!
