i agree!! :) Mariah STILL has it...but people fail to realize that her music HAS to change...if it didn't no one would buy it...cuz it would be out dated...and for the record nobody's voice stays the same...everyone's changes...and u gotta also realizes she has a vocal disorder and can still smoke pretty much anyone out now...and i mean ANYONE...mariah's a beast! :D

Man, her singing was so fluid back in the day. Her melisma actually sounds cool. She's so choppy now, breaking up phrases and throwing in hiccup like "oh oh oh" lines. I wonder if she'll ever get this back.

I miss and mourned thus voice. She was barely past 20 then and is 40 today. If time was a human being and they were dating...their relationship is highly abusive and has been for a long time

@hdrp33 I saw her live recently, and she still sounds outstanding. Of course 20 years of constantly belting takes a toll on a voice, and a woman's body changes drastically between ages 20 and 40.

I forgot that expressing my point of view was forbidden,I know you can't turn back the time, I refered to the quality of her music because in the last album all the songs sounded the same and maybe just maybe I'm not hating her, I just have faith in her talent and I now she can do better than the songs she is making now, i like her but it's not the same,so if you love her above all things,good for you but don't tell me to shut up only because we don't agree

@CrissyJB I still love Mariah, but I do agree that some of her music should still be like this. but everyone does evolve so essentially we cannot keep this same singer. She wouldn't be big still if she stuck with this genre of music. She'd fall out into the background. Most of the youth don't appreciate this kind of music, hence her new material.
