when, I, posted this video , never crossed my mind that Arguello was going to leave us , so soon , is hard for me to believe it was a suicide , days before , he was in Puerto Rico , doing benefical works , He was and still is very well loved and admired here in the island < such a gentelman such a warrior , stole the heart and admiration , everywhere he stood up ,, lets remember him , as such ,,, a special human being , we were lucky to have him,,, R.I.P ALEXIS!!!

Arguello, in my opinion, was the classiest boxer since Joe Lewis. Thanks for the memories.

@Frangeliko38 asi es hermano respeto a quien respeto se merece, yo soy nica y uno de mis idolos del boxeo ha sido felix tito trinidad, peleas memorables ante de la hoya, nunca de la hoya fue de mi gusto y mas cuando derroto a chavez cuando ya estaba en el ocaso de su carrera, chavez otro de mis idolos latinoamericanos, que viva nicaragua, puerto rico y mexico, tierras d egrandes campeones...

@reyjuancarlos hermano tienes toda la razon, aun en las dderrotas alexis nunca perdio su grandeza, sus peleas con pryor nunca le rehuyo el combate, se fajo con pryor de principio a fin, alexis perdio pero fue fiel a su estilo siempre para adelante, ver ese primer round donde no hubo nada de estudio, se fueron con todo ambos peleadores, a alexis le sobraban huevos, viva nicaragua...

Que alegria y orgullo que mi paisano Jose Luis Ramirez a solo 22 años le dio una gran batalla al gran Alexis Arguello(EPD) y fue el primer boxeador en manar a Alexis a la lona.Algunos opinan que Ramirez merecia la decision,fue un gran combate y les recomiendo esa pelea.

wow these two men prooved to be complete soldiers, escaleras fought in his first bout with a cut left eye, toungue and shut right eye, who ever has had a toungue piercing or bit there toungue know how painful this is, this man fought like this as well as people thinking arguello came out clean, nope...escaleras fought with mean cuts and damage but was sent home arguello was sent to the hospital with multiple broken ribs!! true fucking warriors, something that is near extinction in todays boxing
