All we did was touch the broken key to the spare key and the motor started, no need to rip the dash board apart.

Here Is what you do. Go to a Locksmith and have them cut a plain metal key from the one that does not start the car. Cut the rest of the broken key off flush with the head of the plastic encased transponder that is currently programmed to the vehicle. Tape the head of the programmed key to the plain metal key you paid a couple bucks for. I know because I do it all day, everyday, till the end of days.

@drummer2290 oh well.

@directx9x Because the garages charge you €180+ for a key here.

@Aliendear Yeah man I tried that but it would not work! Not sure why but it just wouldn't! So thats why i just put it upto the wire!

@kx250ist Well why dont you just fuck off. I put this video up to hopefully help someone out. You dont like it? Then get the fuck off the computer.
The car started because the transponder inside the key is near the transponder ring,glue or tape key inside ring then start

@DR1V3R2007 nope. That didn't work. That is why i cut the wire. I'm not a dope. I only worked when I put it upto the wire.

Awesome! This is a great solution for the problem I have (installing a remote starter).

@bored1980 Glad it helped someone! There was no videos about this and this is why I uploaded. Some real pricks on these comments. I'm not a mechanic or anything, I have no clue about cars. This is how I got it to work. I'm sure there is 100 other ways to do this. Go make a video to see how it should be done if anyone has a problem with it.

Hey. Great Job. I had lots of fun experimenting and playing with ways to make it work from a distance. in the end, I wrapped the transponder with a coil of copper and was able to attach it under the column. :-)
