From the BBC, this documentary follows a squadron of CH-47 and HH-47 Chinook helicopter pilots from the RAF Odiham base in Hampshire, England, beginning an 8-week tour in Afghanistan. Features exlusive footage on board with the squadron under live anti aircraft fire, interviews with the pilots and discusses the search for Osama Bin Laden and the battles with the Taliban, delivering troops, ammunition and other supplies to the front lines, and surprise night missions (quickly discovered and the subsequent bombardment of the squadron).

  • i looked into the army air corps, but you may not get a lot of flying hours and you have to join as an officer and you may not be posted to the AAC straight away, whereas if you join the RAF you join as an officer and a pilot. thats as far as i understand it anyway

good look on getting your wings

  • great video man love it

i want to join the RAAC(Royal Army Air Corps)
