I honestly don't think they're making fun of Karen. They're all big fans of The Carpenters and I believe this was a tribute. It's a song about Karen dying and going to Heaven, I don't see why this would be offensive.

FOOL. Have u really seen it FOUR times over ½ a year. That was hard or?? I am 42, I'm normally mostly into metal, but dont tell ME, what I know about The Carpenters though I'm from Denmark. I've been a DJ in my earlier days, have always liked Sonic Youth. They would never sing bad about the tragic death of ANY person!! You just dont know this sort of music. Did you want them to make a mio dollar video from a funeral?? It just shows how ugly an illness it is w/ this video, Mr. No Brain!!

I have watched this video 4 times now over 6 months. It's hideous. It has no redeeming artistic, social, moral or personal value. I'm guessing that none of you were even born when Karen was in her prime and may never have even heard any of her songs. This "tribute" is a drug fueled turd stew and there is no point in discussing it further.

he said what this is about, not who you moron. they weren't mocking her, they wanted to show the world what the hell we as a society did to her. its supposed to be wrong, its supposed to make you feel sick, because thats how karen or anyone with anorexia felt whenever someone mentions there weight.
