I've been a choral singer for 40 years. The reason we wear robes or uniforms and stand still is not to distract from the music. The music is the feature, not each individual person (except soloists). We aim to sound as "one voice" no matter how many are in the chorus. Show choirs feature more movement and are entertainers.

I love this song so much. It's just so melodious and easy to listen to. I sang it once at the Alience world festival for singing men and boys in Prague in 2004. One of the most memorable summers ever. This particular arrangement is very good.

Lovely job! I love this arrangement of the song. Soloist has a lovely voice, but she needs to relax more-- it'll help with remembering the lyrics, too! ;) Keep singing!

on every choir video I go to there's at least 1 asshole who says "I'ves seen better" or "my choir is better"

@jennyw95 Ronald Staheli arranged it for BYU. He's one of my favorite arrangers. Mormons seem to have the best music programs.
On a side note, I was all excited this was SAU (I go to Southern Adventist University). Not the same college :)

from Dr. Livesay: "The arrangers name is Ron Staheli, and he is the choral director at Brigham Young Univ. When I "bought" his arrangement, it wasn't published. He sent me a score and I made copies of it at an agreed price for each copy. I've heard that since that time it HAS been published, but I'm not sure who the publisher is. JW Pepper Music would probably have that information.
