I have a dvd of this game but it does not have the first 25 seconds of this intro. Your copy looks like it may be sharper too. Do you have the whole game?

And was there any opening feature or did the broadcast just start with the NBC graphics?

@donniedarko316 hey don't forget Pat Summerall, Frank Gifford, Al Michaels, Curt Gowdy (RIP), Dick Stockton, Lindsey Nelson (RIP), Don Criqui, Keith Jackson, Howard Cossell (RIP), etc. all of them are also better than Jim Nantz and Joe Buck. Dick Stockton is still around at FOX calling games.

the jets came up short of making the playoffs that year,but it was a major improvement from a dismal early 1990's records.the next season in 98 they would go 12-4 and switched the uniforms to a modern day version of the 1960's/70's uniforms just with hunter green instead of kelly green. but sadly were one game short of going to sb33 thanks to elway and the broncos =/

One of the best Lions games in memory. Also the last time the Lions were on NBC with the 1995-97 theme which was a great theme!! Also Michigan football won the national title this same year as well which I was really happy about!

Isn't this the game where that Detroit Lion was injured and almost died on the field and the game was postponed for like an hour

I remember I won a proline ticket with this game!!!! Can't remember the exact score but I do remember I bet that it would be a tie (which is any score that is within 3 points), I already had my first 2 games on the ticket right & this was the last game I needed to win & I did!! Thx for posting!
