Right Eric. It was meant to be "cheesy" or "bad sci-fi" to make it funny. That's why I didn't try to hide the strings.
Good eye though.

Dear Mr. Hog, You are partially correct. When we shut down the city and hung a 100 foot wide cake over it using a 400 ft crane we didn't realize that our 1000megawatt studio lights (hanging from 6 stunt helicopters) would not outshine the sun that was in the wrong place for the shoot. Thus we were left with a "double shadow inconsistency" that my highly paid20 man CGI team could not remove.
I will have a word with the production supervisor. I've fired the effects crew- now they work for PIXAR
