too much like sin and punishment(started that first

@alphamone Yeah, bosses. But 'broom' weapons make the bulk of the game largely redundant.
At least the game should make you work for the fire power, not just throw upgrades at you for nothing. Like Flying Shark--you can get über spread fire power too. But if you die, it's back to a meagre two-shot spud gun. So you're forced to play with skill or you won't last long; boss fights or otherwise.
-
except that the spread attacks make boss fights harder as you aren't putting all the damage onto the boss, as in many of these sorts of shmups, the boss is also small.

i have sold or traded pretty much every ps2 game i have ever owned at some point but I NEVER get rid of my shmups! damn lazy first person shooting americans (im american) its because of those guys we dont get any of the good stuff. Now it seems everygame that comes out no matter the genre is a copy of COD
-
these games are great! so much harder then 1st person shoots, I beat those in a day or two!
-
Hate the shooters with the ludicrously spread-y weapons. Defeats the whole concept of AIMING.

I love my monthly gamestop visit.s lol, got this for 3 bucks yesterday. I thought it was a bloody RPG ....damn gamestop not having them in boxes and just putting them in those little yellow paper thingys cant complain got like 6 games for 25 bucks and an un opened copy of Sakura Wars: So Long My Love.

at least this one has a cover that matches the game unlike castle shikigami 1 (mobile light force2)

This game is fun.

im thinking about getting this game..im jw why did it go from english to japanese voice overs?
Just be happy that this game even came to the US. The only shooters most people play anymore are 1st person.

Hmmm....
How come the bastardized PS2 version in the US sucks so much?
