I agree, I love Sally Struthers regardless of what people may think. I was a young teen during the "All in the Family" days, so I never paid much attention at that age. Well watching the syndicated show today, I will say this, Sally Struthers was one HOT looking woman. Thank you, Sally for all the great memories on "All in the Family" you'll always be a beautiful women in my book!

I wish people had more compassion. Sally struggled through years of deep depression. I don't know whether she turned to food for comfort, but it is a fact that some ant-depression meds cause some people to put on a lot of weight . Better heavy and alive than skinny and dead!

Also, after menopause the body changes making it very difficult to lose weight.

I think we should appreciate Sally for who she is and the many laughs she has given us plus the fact that she is still with us.
