@Alonalight IKR? I mean who cares that Tangela was an obscure Pokemon with a weird design that was only notable in Gen 1 for being the only pure Grass, and that Tangrowth has slightly more detail, better stats aside from speed, and a better movepool to bring it out of obscurity? Having an evo in Gen 4 automatically means it's ruined, but Gen 2 is okay because it's nostalgic, even if the evo is far better.

@TheMeaning0fLife Honestly Tangela looked lazily designed to me and was pretty forgetable. The only reason I dislike Tangrowth is because I've never liked Tangela, so I don't like it. The Pokemon I already hated were the only ones whose evos I don't like.
