@FirebirdBuco burnt valves are caused by rapid cooling, if you ran open short length headers you would run that chance, becuase the outside air has a shorther route.

@bigballa97 thats funny cuz my 95 Z28 gained 5hp with my cut out open? must have been a faulty dyno...the idea of open headers burning or warping valves is a myth

@FirebirdBuco if tis a carbed engine then u dont need back pressure but with open headers on a fuel injected engine then no your loss tons of power and tq
