Firefly/Serenity: They are Reavers. To the citizens of the Alliance ruled core worlds, they are the monsters that keep them up at night---myths and legends whispered in the dark and forgotten as they live their everyday. But Zoe Washburn knows they're real. They're humans gassed with experimental drugs that robbed them of humanity and left a blood thirsty animal in its place.
But now the Reavers have something to fear. She is Flaming Red---the fastest ship in the verse---a destroyer that carries a crew of warriors and fighters, who've survived and lost love ones to Reavers attacks. They're led by Zoe, a veteran solider of the Unification War, who suffered her own loss under their wrath, in their mission to rid each world of the Reaver threat once and for all.
But Zoe's crew are about to learn how little they know about their leader. A mysterious note and a cryptic message will send them on a collision course with Malcolm Reynolds and his Serenity crew-stirring up old wounds and long dead secrets that force Zoe to face the truth about herself, her past and everyone she left behind.
