(MeduSirena.com) Underwater performer Marina (in the blue tail) AKA "Marina the Fire Eating Mermaid" swims at the Sheraton Fort Lauderdale Beach Hotel's (formerly named Sheraton Yankee Clipper) Wreck Bar. Reminiscent of the old performances that took place at the Yankee Clipper in the 1950's and early 60's, it is a Marina's nod to the classic Ft. Lauderdale during the golden age of tourism. Special debut "mermaid" appearance by Kami'lani (in pink and black tails).

Special thanks to Shotaro Hattori for use of his gorgeous tune " Saikai no Bossa".

  • You are amazing! Love the music too....I can't say how often I watched this video, must be a 1000 times ;-)

But your turnarounds must cause you headaches..Is it simply trained or is there a trick to it? ;-)anyway, although you don't have latex tails, you're more "real" to me ^^

  • @admiralbabe Thank you for the kind words- movements such as loops and barrel rolls you see are part of the MeduSirena swim style & repertoire. I do train daily and also make sure the M~Pod trains extensively as well. Latex tails would actually take away from that certain retro aqua-spectacle effect I'm trying to preserve. As lovely as they are, I've tactically chosen to go with the simpler tails you see, as it helps us to focus on underwater fluidity & movement.

  • Oooohh.. love the music.. relaxing.. who is it? .. Love your "dancing" by the way ;)

  • Aw...thank you for the sweet comment! Just check the video description for the details regarding the music.
