A clip from the upcoming documentary following Martin Atkins on his 16-day trip to Beijing. In this clip he is at High End Studios recording a track with Tibetan Singers, and an amazing Scratch DJ. The resulting song is on the new China Dub Soundsystem album.

Only recently started looking into Pigface/Martin Atkins and this is just something else. This sound is just fucking awesome. It has just blown my fucking mind. I need to get the album's of music he released with this! Well done Mr Atkins!

Martin,
Thanks for speaking at DFest music conference and festival this year! Your keynote was a huge success to artists trying to have a career. We showed 16 days in China at our kick party and it was well received! Thanks for all your help and all your doing to help the artists!

He teaches at a private art school in Chicago...Columbia College. He does a lot of other projects now as well. He isn't some washed up has been. He has a lot to offer students and has had an impressive career. He spoke to our class today and Columbia recruited him to teach for them. The idea to write his book came from the fact that the most recent one students had to learn from was from the 60's.

What's even sadder is this "Tour Smart" book. Because a band needs words of wisdom from a 50 year old man who teaches at a Chicago community college.. A guy who owns a NON EXISTENT record label that makes a couple bucks a week selling $1 shirts on eBay. A guy who is nearly bankrupt and can't afford a wardrobe (look at all these YouTube clips...he's been waering the same suit for 3 years!)...

This is sad. AVOID! buying this.. its only 40 minutes long, why this is a DVD release I have no idea. Invisible Records has become pathetic. I used to be a fan, now the label has spent OVER 3 YEARS on Atkins goes to China crud. Talk about beating a dead horse!!
