Um but if you remove the hair follicle to implant it in another location on the scalp how does it grow back?

that is a great question. In the donor area 1000s of follicles can be removed without showing signs of thinning.

@maloufd However, the hair from the donor area will not grow back. please keep this in mind. i've done some research and some patients are getting hair tattooing for fue scars.

@capgains appropriate punch sized and number of follicles per sq cm less than 20

% results in no visible scarring or thinning.
