@moxncal "Everybody" having their own farm means for every 100 people, virtually ALL needing to FARM to grow enough food to BARELY feed themselves, month to month.
That means everyone is behaving & living like a Chimp or monkey: a hand to mouth existence.
In modern agri-cultural and animal husbandry practices, 1 FARMER grows enough to feed 100 people, thus leaving those 99 others to study medcine, engineering, computer, math & learn how to make powerful machines, etc.

Thanks for sharing. These people eat mov kuam....meaning that they live at Pej Yeej or Pheej Npeeb area right? I been in these areas many times too.

@HenryDavidT henry you dont think the americans will head back down this path anytime soon?, where everybody will have small farms like this?, with the current economical crisis that were experiencing? would you not try to be subsistence and try to grow your own food or have a few pigs and chickens and cows?, if the price of food shoots up 5 times? if the shit hits the fan like in the 30s. i think people like them might be better off
