  • umm is this the newest style?

  • Hi, no, it isn't. This is 5th edition. I'm working on a 6th edition update that should be out in a few weeks. I want to make sure it's perfect. That being said... the basic info in this video will get you through.

  • Research Paper in APA Style good information

  • @danirochey

An abstract should be a summary of your entire paper in about 75-150 words (the Purdue OWL says 150-250, but this really depends on the length of your paper). You will probably start with your thesis but you should also make note of your methods and results (albeit briefly).

The abstract follows the title page, and starts with the word Abstract, top-center (your paper should already include the paper header). The abstract is not indented.

  • is there anything to be said for an abstract?

  • sucks for you guys, i just finished my final copy :P

  • The date on her paper is November 15th and i'm writing mine on November 16th. lol

  • Thanks so much for your time in doing the tutorial. This helped me alot :)

  • @JamaicanPrincessChan I agree!! It makes no difference, the context is what is important!

  • I don't understand the indenting part :'(

  • Thank You for this video. It helped me understand APA, I wish my teacher used this in class.

  • @edoc918 Please, it isn't "the old fashion way," it's "the old fashioned way," or, better yet, "the old-fashioned way."

    Thanks.
