I Can't Believe It: Episode 65

"Lena...Oh, Lena.........Lena!"
I groaned and rolled over on my bed to see two people kneeled over beside my bed staring right at me.
I jumped up on the bed scared, but then sighed as I got a clear view of them, and they started laughing.
"Oh my GOSH, you guys!" Frankie and my sister stood up and continued laughing as I got out of bed.
"You two could have given me a heart attack!" I complained, before shooing them out of my room and freshening up in my bathroom.
When I was done I put on some sweats and a t-shirt, then went downstairs for breakfast.
"Goodmorning," I greeted my mom and Dad, who were at the table drinking coffee and reading the newspaper.
"Morning," they chorused in response.
"There's some hot cakes in the microwave for you, honey," my mom said without taking her eyes off of the paper.
"Thanks," I mumbled and helped myself to some food. As I sat down and started eating, my dad put his paper down and looked at me.
"So, Lena..." he started. I nodded for him to continue. "I've been offered a job here in L.A." I stared at him blankly as the news sunk in.
"You...you're serious?" I said, a smile forming in my face.
"Well, it's not official yet, but if your mother and I choose to go along with it, it will be available if you decide to pursue your acting opportunity with Disney."
I couldn't hide the smile any longer. I couldn't believe all my dreams were finally coming true.
"Don't get too excited," he warned, as I got up from the table. "Whatever you say Dad," I replied in a cheerful voice, before racing upstairs to call Nick.
"Hello?" His voice was so velvety and inviting even over the phone.
"Hi, Nick! It's Lena." He chuckled and said, "Yes, I know. And what can I do for you?"
I smiled and asked, "Could you come over for a while? I'm craving your company." He laughed again and said, "You're craving my company huh? Well let's not leave you in that state any longer. I'll be there in a few." I smiled.
"Thanks," I replied. "Anything for my girl," he said, making me giggle.
"Stop being corny, Jonas, and come over." He chuckled and said, "Bye" before hanging up.
The door bell rang about half an hour later, and I raced down to open it before anyone else could.
I smiled when I saw his gorgeous face and immediately let him inside.
"Goodmorning," I heard him greet my parents politely, before I grabbed his arm and pulled him up the stairs and into my room.
I closed the door then locked it and turned around to see him smirking at me as he said, "And goodmorning to you, too..." I rolled my eyes and took his hand leading him to the center of my room, and then gently pushed him down on the bed.
He raised an eyebrow at me, and then gave me a seductive grin, that made my stomach squirm.
"I like this...this, manhandling..." he purred, still staring at me. "You can play with me all you want baby." I rolled my eyes at him again, then sat at the desk chair opposite of my bed. He frowned at my choice of location but I ignored it.
"So, my Dad got offered a job here," I stated simply. Astonishment and happiness spread across his face as the news sunk in.
"Wait...are you serious?? You...you're moving here?!" It knocked my breath away seeing him like this. I'd never seen him this happy in my life. Not even when I agreed to be his girlfriend less than 3 months ago.
I laughed and walked over to him, sitting myself on his lap and wrapped my arms around his neck.
"Don't get too excited."
