If it's outright power you want buy an xr6t and modify it, crazy power, if it's a sporty hatch with great handling and good power you want and don't need heaps of room and you like the overall feel, changing gears etc grab the xr5. But be aware that with the xr5 with race+ tune you'll need LSD to get the most out of it thru the twisties(read wheelspin city)

Looking at how quick it pulled away, it can't be a turbo Falcon. Pay attention to the title, XR5 vs XR6, not XR6T. Thats about how fast my FG turbo pulls away from my friend's BA turbo, unless that XR5 is running at FG turbo pace I'm not going to believe for one second that the other car is an XR6T. Sorry guys.

@Xerexize Not quite FG pace. But it would be running BA/BF Phoon pace. I kept up with them in my old car and it was 14kw down on this one. So I'd say I'd definitely take a stock older phoon. FGs are another matter

@lats28883 Well I'm not going to call you a liar, so what kind of work have you done? From what I've gathered on google and the forums, they do a ~15 second 400m stock and I'm assuming it's currently running mid 13s or thereabouts, which is a good result.

@Xerexize Flash tune, intercooler, Cat back exhaust, CAI. These mods cost about $3000 and bump it from 166kw and 320nm at the crank to 189kw and 447nm at the wheels. Its a very modable Volvo engine.

I raced an XR5 in my F6 at the drags. I beat him, but only by .6 of a sec. The gear changes was his downside ,, had it been an auto ,or a paddle shift rally job , it would have gone closer if not beaten me. I'd never catch him on a circuit tho.

@lats28883 Ba only has 240kw and 450nm.  which is around 175rwkw. BF has 245 and 480. mine made 202rwkw stock and after 3grand it now makes 320rwkw
