I have adapted this theme song as my own "life theme song"; when they changed the theme in 2004 I was infuriated and I still can't stand it, and if I have anything to say about it one day they will change it back.

Dear Carmaker1, Bill Rice did not say anything cruel, it's just that he was at the ABC network for 46 years (1963-2009), and that was way too long. That's all I want to say, thank you.

@earlymid90schild Erin was probably 14 1/2 in that image, as it had been there since it's debut in November 1995. A lot of the footage from original opening might have been scenes from July to October 1995.

@SoCanIHaveIt Erin Torpey. She played Jessica from 1990 (about age 9)-2003 (about age 22). She would have been about 16 or so then in 1997.
