  • would you be able to write some kinda tabs for this? im just now starting to play the banjo and i would love to eventually learn how to play this. i cant find tabs for this anywhere!!

  • @chrisgermer Hi Chris, I teach by ear, no tab, so I can't help you out on that front, but if you really want to learn it I'd suggest trying the lesson. You can order it at caseyhenry(dot)net Just click on the "Lessons" link and scroll down to the "Custom Lessons" section. It hasn't made onto the big list there yet, but you can just type the title into the box and order it that way. You might find you like learning by ear....though this is kind of a hard one to start with!

  • muy bien casey.i like your videos.your videos help me much.i have a personal request.you can play deliverance?PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE.thank you

  • @angelito197502 I'm glad you like the videos. I only have time to do lessons that people have ordered, but lucky for you someone recently requested the break to "Dueling Banjos" straight off the "Deliverance" sound track. It should be up in the next month or so.

  • Great job, Casey! You did great, and I was trying to learn this song, and I know Keith is noted for putting the banjo in his songs, although he played on the record with a 6 string banjo. Thank you for uploading this short lesson, and it's nice to see that somebody transcribed the banjo part from this song. Great job!

  • @vcp430 Well, I don't know that I would call it "the" banjo part from the song. But it is "a" banjo part to the song. You can't really hear the banjo except for during that riff at the beginning (that is repeated several times through the song), so I just rolled through the chords.

  • You did a fantastic job only playing by ear!! I am truely amazed at your raw talent....love the video

  • Great job again Casey. You show that you can play along with many songs that normally would have a "banjo part."

  • I love this and Im in the process of learning it by watching the viedo, bet I've watched it 50 times. Thanks for uploading it!

  • AWESOME!!!! I like this alot! I just got a banjo.....so...I can't play anything, but I would love to learn to play this one day!

  • I could listen to this all day :)

  • That's cool you did it on this, because he actually did this on a 6 string banjo.

  • doesn't Keith use a ganjo for this song?
