This song came straight from my heart one night as I prayed over my sleeping daughter. As I stared at her beautiful frame I was just moved to tears by what an amazing gift from God she really is. She was born with neurofibromatosis and is considered legally blind. Some would have advised while she was still in the womb that I should have had an abortion because she isn't "perfect". That would have been a tragedy. As this song has been passed around it has been used in many different ways- pro-life rallies, baby dedications, Mother's Day events, weddings, and as a simple lullaby sung over a sleeping baby. My hope is that this song would inspire all mothers to pray over their babies, no matter how old, and to see the value of human life.

Congratulation that is my sons birthday. He was born 11/08/08 and born via emergency c-section and 5 weeks early. But he is a happy healthy 4 yr old today. God bless. Love the song.

Wow. God is good! Just heard this for the 1st time. He sent this song to me as message in my deep times of struggling as a backslide Christian. Single mother blessed with three (ages 23, 20, 15) and. Grandchildren (ages 4 & 1)

Hi, I just found this beautiful song as I was looking for a song for my baby's dedication that will be on May 11th. Four years ago we started trying to have a baby, but we couldn't get pregnant. I just prayed and left the matter in God's hands. We decided to go through fertility treatments. Many ups and downs, but we never lost faith and our belief that we would be parents!
