GTA 4 pc compilation

ust some clips of GTA 4 on my pc. :) GTA 4 runs at about 30fps. when i turn everything on low i get about 40-50fps.(ps. sorry for the bad sound, my fraps had a problem)

Can anyone tell me why i have a 9800gt, q9400 quadcore and 4 gig of ram and i get no more than 35fps with max settings? although it doesnt look like it? is it possible that it can be more laggy if you dont have the original game? REPLY PLS

to improve the fps, try to minimalize all recurces on pc. close all things you dont need. like antivirus , icq, msn, dwm , ........

and 35 fps with the 9800gt isnt bad

"intel core 2 duo e6750 @ 3.0 GHz" you say... thats 3.0 GHz is for 1 core or for both together? because I got better graphic card, same motherboard and same RAMs, Intel core 2 duo 3.4 GHz but I have small FPS and I don't know how to up it

try patches for the game or maybe i have a other windows version.(vista 32,64 bit, xp,windows 7 beta,.....) i have overclocked my cpu and my ram and i have some programs to make the pc faster. and try to close all other programms that you dont need like deamon tools , desktop manager ,.....
