  • Sold the M2 and M1, now just the 200 model left. Works worse, sounds best!

  • @OFR What models of chamberlin do you have?

  • I have several Chamberlins, too, but do not agree. Yes, they sound cleaner, but more like a sampler to me. Some of the sounds are amazing on the Chamberlin, but I think the Mellotron has more weirdness to the sound, and it less normal-sounding.

  • RothHandle has both. The Chamberlin uses less compression on the sound. So Mellotrons may be better in construction, but a Chamberlin sounds better.
