Which is why you can buy forged v8 blocks that can hold up to 2500hp. Not street able at all I'm sure. But it's a ford 5.4 stroker with new piston walls to make it 5.8. Just saying. Many more v8/6 cylinder cars around 7-900hp.
@03SilverMustangGT Actually, the 1993 5.0 Mustang had 205 hp and the 1987-1992 had 225 hp with a 5 spd. Also the 1993 5.0 didn't have forged pistons from the factory either(: I've owned a few fox Mustangs and worked at Dallas Mustang for 5 years and saw many get dynoed. There's nothing fast about a stock car that makes 195-200 rwhp on a DynoJet dyno lol. An N/A 5.0 with a factory stock shortblock and EVERY bolt on struggled to make 290-300 rwhp on their DynoJet. Like it or not those are facts.
@Spoolin51 im sorry hondas cant touch a 12a a 13b let alone a 20b RX series. your right hondas are in a different class and Hondas are not as fast as them just look at the cars the aussie's and rician"s produce. the only honda Capable to compete with the RX line is the NSX and S2000. anyways i love both domestic and imports but love imports more when odly the imports for the states mostly are made in the states.
@darkblaze176: I am a true car guy and I respect anything fast...Import or Domestic. I use to have a turbo D16 back in the day. Single cams have potential but there are many other motors out there that have more. I believe you should do whatever makes you happy. Who cares what others think.
P.S. I watched the video and that's badass! However, A rotary engine is nowhere near the same as a single cam honda. Peace
