An audio - unplugged from "VH1 Storytellers"(1996).
Live location at the Biltmore Hotel Coral Gables, FL.
Written by Barry, Robin and Maurice Gibb 1968. Lead vocals by Robin Gibb.

The VH1 Storytellers mini-album was available only in Target stores in the United States, and only as part of a 2-CD box containing also the usual Still Waters album.
Each CD was in its own jewel case in shrinkwrap, so once the box was opened the customer had a normal stock copy of Still Waters and this rare VH1 Storytellers.
The five songs (Words, I Started A Joke, Jive Talkin', I've Gotta A Message To You & To Love Somebody) were recorded on November 25 at the live show recorded for the Storytellers series on the VH1 cable network.
The songs had all been heard in March when the television version was shown, but "Ive Gotta Get A Message To You" was incomplete on television, and all five songs had been remixed from the way they had been heard on television.

  • Such a sweet voice,it's funnyt how thw "uglyest" member of the group had the most beutiful voice...Thanks for this post!!!

  • @TheRockerchef Your very welcome :D

  • His voice got better with age. More depth, strength under that falsetto. It's too bad the media really cursed them in the late 70's just because they made great songs. The BeeGees didn't deserve the disco backlash because their music was truly multi-decade folk, then disco, then pop. The music industry wouldn't give the BeeGees more exposure, but their songs written for other artists just kept going #1 after they were "banned". That's how great they were as artists & song writers.

  • @tombstone9173 Thank you for the comment!!

  • Oh Robin! the quiver in that amazing voice, the wonderful unplugged sound... please stay with us.

Melbourne footage July 1971, twins are 22 yrs old. I love Robins expressive brows and that overbite! Looks fab at 2:00 about 1990, love the later balding Rob without the hair piece. We love and miss you Maurice!

  • Oh my God how shallow you are.Robin is a beautiful man inside and out.more than i can say for you,and go back to school as you cannot spell.

  • @mariofan4523 With Robin's voice and personality, I find him absolutely gorgeous. When Robin was young he was just adorable and cute. Look at Melbourne, Australia 1989 He is absolutely fabulous. The biggest heartthrob I have ever experianced. I love all of the Bee Gees. Robin has always been my favorite ! ! !
