  • The biggest mistake that Saltzman and Broccoli made was not doing "Casino Royale" as the first Bond film. By doing so would have prevented that awful 2007 adaptation with Daniel Craig, a film that did not flow with the rest and did not go along with the novel. "From Russia With Love" was one of the closest adaptations, "Dr. No" was done well, so was "Goldfinger" with a few minor details. To understand my critique, read the books if you haven't already.

  • @AwsomeAxeOfAcheiving No more remakes, besides Connery is kind of old to play Bond now.

  • I wish women approached to me... like a wet suit.

  • As odd as I am. I find that song at the end to be very funny. "Down near the mango tree." Other than that. Be sides watching Sean in this Goldfinger plus many more Bond films, and The Rock, The League, and, heck very good actor that he is. Connery even went for perforances like Marnie, Medicine man, and Finding Forrester. One of the pop icons who ever lived.

  • @AwsomeAxeOfAcheiving i wish it to but i dont think a remake will be happening anytime soon

  • sean connery was the James Bond ever. I wish they will make a remake

  • @MARDIE1979 I'm 16, just watched it for the first time a few nights ago and I enjoyed it ;)

  • 1:57, soooooooooo, that's where the austin powers bathing suit scene came from...

  • It's a slow movie, usual in spy-thrillers those days. But thanks to the revolutionary editing by Peter Hunt it is still an enjoyable film.

The spider scene gave me nightmares as a child and is simple but highly effective. Sean Connery plays Bond very strong. For it's low-budget of $1 m

it's a decent film but i think the youth of today won't stay awake.

    6/10
