At that time the water was clear. There were cross Victoria harbour swimming contests, which have been abandoned now amongst others because the water is so dirty! The boys are elderly men now. Their father, my bank manager, emigrated to Australia. Never heard of them again!

I'm a Dutchman, IJsbrand Rogge (also known as Michael) and lived in HK from 1949 till 1955, revisiting it in 1960 and 1989. In 1954 president of the HK Amateur Cine Club.
