I came up with this drill about 4 years ago and have used with lots of guys

Do 3 rounds x 3minutes to start, then progress with longer rounds and more rounds as fitness rises

get partnes to move closer and further, add left and right sprawls , the options are endless

  • Hey, not a bad idea, but what if there is no one to push the ball toward u?

  • if on your own we get the guys to stan opposite a wall and kick the ball against the wall and sprawl on the return,

  • wow, i like this drill! Thanks a lot! Hope you don't mind if I show my instructor!

  • No, please feel free to train at your school, thanks for the kind words

  • Muy buen entrenamiento

  • so simple but effective. good stuff

  • Good stuff!!!!! Thanks...

  • @MMAmedia this will be really helpful for my wrestling! i believe this drill will help me with my sprawls instead of just shadow wrestling and just sprawling in air. with this drill you actually get use to seeing something comming in low and sprawling on an actual object. thanks alot for posting this vid!!!!

  • I never would've thought of this, good idea.

  • This looks fun.

  • @95ellington imagine the ball being the opponent that is trying to shoot. the drill helps with timing too...

  • Is this for cardio or does it actually help improve sprawls in a real match?

  • ur a genius!!

  • I never thought of that. Great idea!! I will try to work on that when I get back in the gym next week.
