Queen of Makeovers Dianne Hanks rolls a curler set a different way, vertically, to get ready to introduce a speaker for a singles event, famous bodybuilder, Paul Devine. Paul Devine was Dianne's personal trainer for about five months. She has lost nearly 100 pounds in her own personal makeover, and Paul Devine helped with the last 30.

Advantage to vertical curler rolling: different sizes of rollers stack, securing into each other for better stability when rolling.

  • A Little Tip : While Roding Hair To The Side DO NOT UNROLL THE CURL . Instead You Pull Down That Way The Curl Will Have A Little Bounce Instead Of The Flatness . By Unrolling It You Will Knock The Curl Out And They Will Not Hold. -Great Idea

  • @MackBreeh nice, thanks for that!

  • I will never be able to do this :(

  • @AGoodBaldheadedMan Um, given your name, I can see why you'd say that. However, you can do it on others. I have many male viewers who LOVE giving a proper rollerset to the lucky women in their lives.

  • I was wondering if you know how to roll with "electronic " rollers ?

    My grand mother passed this gift to my mom , which are rollers in a box and they can be plugged in to turn warm and then be used

    But no matter how we tried we didn't succeed

    I hope you can help :D

  • @piano4soul oh you're so lucky! I've been looking in thrift stores for such rollers! My sister swears by them. They should have a set of clips that go with them. Try experimenting and be patient. Try different size sections, different angles that you start, try different positions, like horizontal vs. vertical for results you like best. PLEASE make a video and send it to me and/or take pictures. The learning is in the practice, so DON'T give up. Also, what condition your hair is in changes.

  • I'm a guy who sets his hair regularly. The standard centerstrip section (Mohawk) and the horizontal sections are easy to do. But do you find it difficult to roll your curlers vertically? I've tried and cannot do it. It's like as soon as the hair sees the curler heading its direction vertically it all yells "run for your lives!" and it all goes everywhere except onto the curler. How do you do it? Great video!

  • @MakeoverSessions i work a lot! and never gave much thought to my hair till recently! i am definitely gonna get some rollers and put some curl in my life :}

  • @320samee thank you! Have YOU tried curling your hair like this?
