This is how you zip past gas stations since you don't need to fill up. I recorded this on Sept 13th, the same day hurricane Ike made his grand entrance into Texas. Thus, our oil companies responded by spiking the price of gas from about $3.50 to $3.99. Wasn't that thoughtful of them? The Geo in the video looks like it's got a trunk full of lead weights because... well... it really does have a trunk full of weights. But they're not lead; they're small concrete slabs. The car does not ordinarily look like the rear end of the car is dragging on the ground!

We deserve oil, and it should be cheap as the U.S. has brought many conveniences and lots of ingenuity
to the world. All the other countries in the World should be grateful.

The Saudi Arabians aren't the problem. We are. We Americans use 25% of all the oil and other natural resources on the planet, with just 5% of the population. Yes, we DO drive huge SUVs, pick-up trucks and minivans, when we should've been building and driving tiny cars like the Europeans. Now we're in a predicament: all these huge trucks and SUVs are VERY thirsty, just as thirsty as ever, but fuel prices have risen 3x in the past several years.
