Also, lowering the standards lets more unqualified candidates of any race (including white) pass the test. What was being asked was to give the job to the black guy that scored better than the white guy who got the job. So yeah, the judge's ruling was stupid but hopefully they'll change it. The court papers are public records and you can find them if you look hard enough. As for 07Redstang you're a racist fuck.

He is absolutely right. I wouldn't want a 5'8" guy coming up the stairs to save me. We have the best firefighters in the world and we gotta lower the standards to be politically correct. It's all bullshit.
