In this beautiful song, 'Sao Ubon ror rak', Tai Oratai sings about a girl from Ubon who is patiently waiting for her love to return. There is a lively change of pace in this song. Of course Tai is from Ubon herself. The song was released on 28 March 2007.

  • i like Petchabun and a lot off thai/isaan music

  • @guynirnam, nice comment and insight. Thanks.

  • @Udonthani3750 Regretably, I haven't been following Thai Music as I should have so I missed the period when many of her songs were at the peak of popularity. Only the past two years that I start to listen to her singing-didn't even know that she's from Ubon.

I find that she is a very talented singer, powerful and beautiful voice, typical of Isan singers who would deliver lyrics with soul. They always have this unique deep ringing which differ from most singer from other regions.

  • @guynirnam, thank you for that very interesting information. It is nice to know. The song is fitting for Tai since she is an Ubon girl.

  • @sweetsunshine26.. This is not Tai's own song. This song belong to Angkhanang Kunchai (อังคนางค์ คุณไชย) who is now 55 years old. The original version was recorded in 70s, the period in which only a mild Isan-style of music was introduce to general public.

  • @sweetsunshine26, I am not really sure. The other version might have been from a live concert. However, there is a demand for these karoke versions.

  • I know I have watched this music video before and heard her singing voice now it's all karoke? Does anyone know why this happened?

  • อมตะ ลูกทุ่งอิสาน ฟังเมื่อใดก็เพราะ..สุดใจ
