  • We used a special (expensive) primer. Your local paint store can help you pick one out. We painted the cabinets too...it's a big job but made a huge difference in the looks. I wouldn't do it again (paint the cabinets).

  • hi,

i was wondering how much space is between your bed and the bunk bed above? i'd like to perhaps add a bunk bed to our rv bedroom for my boys.

    thx.

  • love your rv. inspires me to have more color. are you still blogging?

  • Thanks for sharing. You have a lovely RV.

I feel I could enjoy the 'down-sized', on the road lifestyle,

If I had a RV just like yours. Happy trails to you.

Many Blessings to you, and your family

  • You are doing almost exactly what I want to do, and you have given me some GREAT IDEAS! Like the loft above the bed, and the play area where the dinette used to be. I'm also going to remove the swivel chair and put a desk there but I'll have to build it in because I'm going to need alot of space. Anyway, thanks for the tour, it was inspiring! I was shocked to stumble on this and it end up being the same coach as mine!

  • absoulutly awesome! This MUST be a National RV Tradewinds, circa 1998-2000 right? I have a 1998 Tradewinds myself and this is just amazing what you have done to make it your own! I absolutely HATE all the oak in this thing and have been thinking about painting them white but I couldn't picture it in my head! Now I don't have too... They look great! My carpet is also shot and I've been thinking about doing all hardwood like you've done too. We are considering full timing with our 4yo.

  • I love how stylish ur RV is!!!!!!!

  • Love the colors! Love the white cabinets! Well worth all your work! Very, very nice!!!

  • I love the way you have decorated your RV. Gives me some great ideas for mine. Thanks for sharing. A couple of questions....was it hard to get the paint to stick to the walls and did you paint your cabinets white or were they already that way?

  • Would like to see the outside of the vehicle and the outer features (storage, accessibility etc). Looks great!
