@cndam Iff you take the same trip again, you should be able to fly the a 380. Also I flew Air France from YUL to VCE via CDG on the back it was with KLM via Amsterdam. I flew this route for my Mediterennean cruise with MSC Armonia. In september I will be flying Air France a 380 to CDG and back.
thank you for these videos, i have never flown before and am scared of the take offs and landings but watching these have helped me get a feel for what it is like.
My city is served presentely by 2 African airlines named Royal Air Maroc and Air Algerie. For the Royal Air Maroc, they serve 2 north American citys wich one is Montreal and New York (JFK) also Royal Air Maroc serve DLA and the the Royal Air Maroc is my typical African airline and not Camair. Presentely, AF serve Montreal with the Boeing 747-400 and Boeing 777-200 until march 28 and then AF will increase its frequency to 3 daily flights until the may 3rd and then to 4 from the may 4th.
Llive in DC but come from cameroon. I really like Air France a lot. They have been consistent with their service to cameroon all these years. Camair had potential but puoor managemen, poor service, well, your typical african airline. As it is now, AF flies the A343, and other times with the A332. I've flown on both and pref the 332 because of the better economy seats, and flight cam. Btw. AF is to inaugurate the A380 to Montreal.
Its verry good that AF still flying to Cameroon and they shouldn't stop this route because its a verry good airline at this route and AF is safer than Camair. But me I live in the Island of Montreal in Roxboro Quebec and AF lands in the Montreal West Island Montreal Trudeau twice a day during the winter and AF will serve Montreal next summer 4 times a day and 3 times a day next winter. Finnaly I would like to know, how often AF is flying to Douala and what kind of plane do they use on this route
Furthermore UY was banned from French Airspace not Eu's Black list (though their only scheduled destination in Europe was Paris). Reasons were failures to meet international norms in the loading, transport of dangerous materials, navigation documentation and tire maintenance. They flew the 757-200 and 767-300ER to CDG.
Dude, it's not that hard to understand. IAD to Paris. And then Paris to Douala. I fly that rout at least twice a year! I never said I fley dodn-stop from IAD to DLA. Also, Camair (which btw ceased operations last year) was only on the black list for a few months though I don't see what the relevance is to this discussion. Your information about over-flying Cameroon is both incorrect and doesn't make sense whatsoever. AF has NEVER stopped flying to or over Cameroon. Get your facts in order
I know but IAD its Washington Dulles and DLA is Douala. But there is no direct flights from IAD to DLA. Plus a AF flight from CDG to DLA was not allowed to fly over Cameroun because the Camair the airline of Cameroun was on the Europe's black list of the airlines. The Europe's black list of the airlines applies to the dangerous airlines with old fleet and poor maitenance reccords.
