Nice work so far! Good idea on the red Lego blocks too. It's always good to see someone do a quality restoration like this. You can get sheets of black HDPE and heat them up and rivet them for the skid plate. This will actually help reinforce the entire lower body and prevent future cracks from forming. Keep us all on 6x6World updated on your progress, it looks like you're doing great!

Tried the Lego blocks, they didn't work. I made a skidplate out of a truck boxliner, it worked great. I have it mostly put together, got my new chains for it, will be posting next video soon. Marty
